EXPRESSIONS WITH ESTHER NEEMA

In our journey's we meet many people. Many who touch our hearts others motivate our minds and others remind us we are capable of taking action. For Two years I had conversations with many such women whose lives and words have become unforgettable. These women, many beyond limitation thrived, they rose after every fall, and significantly impacted not only on my life, but especially in the communities they lived in, and sometimes the whole country.

Watching Oprah sharing the stories of women, children and men through her medium inspired me greatly. That through stories, one is able to impact on the lives of others, including me, to become the greatest version of themselves, and the happiest one at that.

Perhaps in my subconscious my admiration turned in to one day, I would love to share the stories of people as well as my own, as a source of inspiration. To show that most of humanity is innately the same, very similar. That if one woman was capable, then we all were. Somehow if their energy can pass though her words to me,and remind me as well, I CAN DO IT TOO.

This is what Expressions with Esther is about. To share stories that inspire us all to be greater, better, and most of happy. Stories shared by others who had walked ahead of us and sometimes not too far from us, our own peers.

I would later be lucky to find myself on a stage with women I had only admired from a distance, women that had inspired me, by their very work. Women I had certainly adored. Lucky is not the word, a blessing and an honor is what it is, as some of them became my very friends. But friends who inspired me to be greater.

I was always curios to know; "How did you get there?"  "What drives you?". And just like that I would be let in on treasures of knowledge. Then I started to see myself as lucky, and their words golden, for I have learned, "you can only see far by standing on the shoulders of giants." These women were my giants, these are the women who offered their knowledge when I was finding my own wings as a woman. The very wings and wind that propelled me to fly.

This blog will highlight, the various stories from the interviews, and many more expressions of not only women, but also men who came as well, and not only women from the show, but a mirage of women and men who have been a source of inspiration. A focus on their expressions, and the numerous lessons, I have derived from interaction with them.

I hope that these stories will inspire you, the same way that I was inspired. I pray that these stories will touch your hearts as they touched mine. I hope that every woman and young girl who needs wind and a wing to fly that they may find a propelor to do just that. That you may understand, somewhere inn this world is another like you who has crossed that river and made it through, and so can you.
